Light Up the Stage (Stage Presence)
Find yourself staring at your feet as you perform? Shrinking away from the audience? Just going through the steps? In this workshop, we will be looking at how to shape your dance persona as a confident performer and "sell" your dance to the audience. We will cover how to be a more expressive dancer, how to interact with your audience, and most importantly how to get past stage fright. Bring a notebook!

Fabulous Floor Work
Let's revive the dying art of floor work! Rubia will take you through basic moves and conditioning exercises, so you can move on to more advanced moves. We will combine these moves into a short choreography. Please bring knees pads and/or a yoga mat.
Have you ever wanted to learn to belly dance? Of course you have!
Belly dance is a great way to get fit, gain flexibility, boost confidence, meet interesting people, and have fun.
What Do I Need for Class?
Wear what you would wear to a yoga class. You will need comfortable clothes that you can move in but aren't too baggy.
A hip scarf is highly recommended to better feel the movement in your hips. If you don't have one, you can purchase one at class.
Most dancers dance barefoot, but you can wear socks or dance shoes if you prefer.
A great attitude and willingness to learn and have fun!

$50 per person, per hour
$180 for 4 one-hour classes
